God Thoughts

According to God's word, letting God's Spirit control our minds leads to life and peace; letting the flesh dominate our minds leads to turmoil and death (Romans 8:5-6). Our lives will go in the direction of our strongest thoughts. Our inner dialogue affects the overall condition of our lives, empowering or hindering God's purpose in us.

Here's how to renew your mind: 1) Confront your most common negative thoughts (defeat, failure, critical spirit, judgments, hatred, loneliness, rejection, abandonment, fear, doubt, etc.). 2) Capture them by commanding these sinful thoughts to stop immediately, disabling their ability to invade your mind, your will, and emotions. 3) Confess God Thoughts based on God's word (see list below) to demolish the strongholds of destructive thinking. Begin to develop the discipline of replacing negative thoughts with Spirit led, Christ centered, God Thoughts. Generate your own custom list of God Thoughts and begin to declare these truths aloud before you start your day, so you can be transformed into a new person by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2).

God Thoughts for Life

I am the Body of Christ. My body is the house of God. God lives in me

and I belong to Him. I've been bought with the price of the blood

of Jesus, so I glorify God in my body and in my spirit.

(1 Corinthians 6:15-19; 2 Corinthians 6:16, 3:16)

God has plans to prosper me and to give me a good future and hope.

darkness and translated into the Kingdom of God's dear Son.

(Colossians 1:13)

Sin has no power over me.

(Romans 6:14)

I separate myself from every unclean thing.

I love God more than anything this world offers.

I present my body as a living sacrifice to God - holy, devoted, and

consecrated to please Him, which is a part of my spiritual worship to Him.

to me that is not common to man, nothing that is beyond human resistance.

me to be tempted beyond my strength to resist and You will provide a way

out or a way of escape so I will be strong against it.
