Think of LifeWay Church as a Hospital that has operated in a spiritual war zone for 14 years without a facility. Picture rescue teams and emergency units being mobilized on a daily basis to clean up enemy attacks and assist wounded families who are being affected by oppressive forces of darkness. Our efforts have ransomed many into the saving arms of Jesus Christ, our Commander in Chief. Our key weapons: God’s word and the infallible power of prayer. As the wounded heal, they have joined the ranks to help heal many more wounded lives that groan and cry for help. We have recognized that our rescue efforts need a fixed facility that opens its doors on a daily basis to more effectively meet the needs of those in need around us. Thousands of people have lost their way and we want to be a light in darkness that announces the goodness of God and His redeeming love.
We desire to be a beacon of hope, where people can be restored spiritually, emotionally and physically. Some benefits of a fixed facility include:
STABILITY Centralizing management and core operational events minimizes uncertainty and anchors our presence in town.
VISIBILITY Many know who we are, but they don’t know where we are. A visible place will help more people move from being blessed by our outreach to becoming part of God’s family.
PRODUCTIVITY The energy and time spent setting up and tearing down could be invested in developing our core calling of loving God and loving people.
ACCESSIBILITY Access of our premises to the needy, the hungry, those needing shelter during community emergencies, etc. increases Christ’s presence in town.
MULTIPLICITY A fixed place allows for more and better implementation of key ministries (Bible School, 24/7 House of Prayer, Arise Academy, Worship Nights, Leadership Development, Conferences, etc).
SUSTAINABILITY Logistical burn out of staff and volunteers has hindered continuity of vital ministries. A fixed location secures the longevity of new initiatives.
CREATIVITY A place called ‘our own’ fosters creative thinking in our kids, youth, adults, and couples, so they can better reach their generation for Christ.
