HOPE Campaign

Think of LifeWay Church as a Hospital that has operated in a spiritual war zone for 14 years without a facility. Picture rescue teams and emergency units being mobilized on a daily basis to clean up enemy attacks and assist wounded families who are being affected by oppressive forces of darkness. Our efforts have ransomed many into the saving arms of Jesus Christ, our Commander in Chief. Our key weapons: God’s word and the infallible power of prayer. As the wounded heal, they have joined the ranks to help heal many more wounded lives that groan and cry for help. We have recognized that our rescue efforts need a fixed facility that opens its doors on a daily basis to more effectively meet the needs of those in need around us. Thousands of people have lost their way and we want to be a light in darkness that announces the goodness of God and His redeeming love.

We desire to be a beacon of hope, where people can be restored spiritually, emotionally and physically. Some benefits of a fixed facility include:

STABILITY Centralizing management and core operational events minimizes uncertainty and anchors our presence in town.

VISIBILITY Many know who we are, but they don’t know where we are. A visible place will help more people move from being blessed by our outreach to becoming part of God’s family.

PRODUCTIVITY The energy and time spent setting up and tearing down could be invested in developing our core calling of loving God and loving people.

ACCESSIBILITY Access of our premises to the needy, the hungry, those needing shelter during community emergencies, etc. increases Christ’s presence in town.

MULTIPLICITY A fixed place allows for more and better implementation of key ministries (Bible School, 24/7 House of Prayer, Arise Academy, Worship Nights, Leadership Development, Conferences, etc).

SUSTAINABILITY Logistical burn out of staff and volunteers has hindered continuity of vital ministries. A fixed location secures the longevity of new initiatives.

CREATIVITY A place called ‘our own’ fosters creative thinking in our kids, youth, adults, and couples, so they can better reach their generation for Christ.

HOPE Proclamation

1 Kings 9:3-7 "The LORD said to Solomon, ‘I have heard your prayer and your request. I have set apart this Temple you have built so that my name will be honored there forever. I will always watch over it and care for it... But if you or your descendants abandon me... then I will reject this Temple that I have set apart to honor my name.’”

Nehemiah 4:1-14 “Sanballat ridiculed the Jews saying, ‘What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble, burned as they are?...’ But we prayed to our God... Then I stood up and said to the people, ‘Don't be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.'”

Psalm 78:1-7 “We will not hide these truths from our children but will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD. We will tell of his power and the mighty miracles he did... So each generation can set its hope anew on God, remembering his glorious miracles and obeying his commands.”

Q: What is the HOPE CAMPAIGN?

A: It is our corporate effort to build HOPE in the lives of individuals in our town, region, and world for the glory of God. We will do this by taking significant steps of faith that will lead us to the purchase of our own facility and the effective execution of our ministries. Our HOPE CAMPAIGN is not about property. It’s about people. Changed lives and transformed families by the redeeming power of Jesus Christ.

Q: Why join the HOPE CAMPAIGN?

A: To be a part of something bigger than ourselves, that will outlast ourselves, and that will require the best of ourselves. Bigger Than Ourselves When we unite to fulfill God’s command for our church, He sends the breath of His blessing to help us. The outcome is divine, supernatural, overwhelmingly precious. Outlast Ourselves Our efforts will outlive us in the lives of many children, youth, and adults, who will spend an eternity in heaven because we cared enough to think outside of our own small world. Best of Ourselves This journey will require of us to step up in faith beyond our comfort zone, allowing us to grow an exciting and fruitful relationship with God.

Q: Who will benefit from the HOPE CAMPAIGN?

A: Everyone!! You and me, as we witness God’s power working in us and around us. Others, as they come to know the saving grace of Jesus because we gave sacrificially to God’s Kingdom. Our acorn faith becomes a mighty forest of oak trees, altering New England’s landscape.

Q: What if we don’t meet our goals? LifeWay Church understands that unless God builds His house, we labor in vain. This means that God will always meet our needs when we meet His terms. If the amount we hope for is not met, it simply means God has better plans for us. Our job is to be persistent in faith, constant in obedience, filled with love for God and others.

Q: What is the goal of a Commitment Card?

A: The Commitment Cards will help our leaders be good stewards in planning how the purchase and conditioning of our new facility will be funded. They will also serve as prayer cards for you as you give sacrificially in response to God’s leading.

Q: Can I add to my giving with non-cash gifts?

A: By all means! Gifts of assets such as stocks, bonds, sale or transfer of property, etc. will be accepted. Please click here to contact our church Financial Clerk with any questions.

Q: Can I change my pledge?

A: Every financial commitment is an act of obedience to God through prayer. This means we trust Him with child-like faith to provide in supernatural ways. If you are blessed by God to increase your giving or if for some reason you have to decrease your initial pledge, please do so prayerfully. Inform the church of your desired change. We trust God is leading you.

Q: How can I contribute?

A: By giving faithfully, generously, and sacrificially to our future home.

Q: Will the totals received be reported?

A: Pledge totals and significant milestones will be announced periodically to our membership every quarter.
